6 tablespoons butter or margarine 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce 1 1/2 teaspoons seasoned salt 3/4 teaspoon garlic powder 1/2 teaspoon onion powder 3 cups Corn Chex® cereal 3 cups Rice Chex® cereal 3 cups Wheat Chex® cereal 1 cup mixed nuts 1 cup bite-size pretzels 1 cup garlic-flavor bite-size bagel chips or regular-size bagel chips, broken into 1-inch pieces
Heat oven to 250 F. In ungreased large roasting pan, melt butter in oven. Stir in seasonings. Gradually stir in remaining ingredients until evenly coated. Bake 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Spread on paper towels to cool, about 15 minutes. Store in airtight container.
Microwave Directions: In large microwavable bowl, microwave butter uncovered on High about 40 seconds or until melted. Stir in seasonings. Gradually stir in remaining ingredients until evenly coated. Microwave uncovered on High 5 to 6 minutes, thoroughly stirring every 2 minutes. Spread on paper towels to cool. Store in airtight container.
Butter rectangular pan 13 x 9 x 2 inches. In a saucepan, heat corn syrup, butter and chocolate chips to boiling, stirring constantly. Remove from heat, add vanilla and mix well. Pour cereal into a large mixing bowl. Pour corn syrup over cereal, stir quickly until coated with chocolate. Stir in marshmallows, one cup at a time. Press mixture gently in prepared pan. Let stand 1 hour or until set. Cut into squares.
Homemade Granola
3 1/2 cups oats 1 cup chocolate chips 1 cup slivered almonds 1/2 cup margarine, melted 1/4 cup packed brown sugar 1/3 cup honey 1 egg, beaten 1/2 teaspoon vanilla 1/2 teaspoon salt
Toast oats in shallow pan in 350 F oven for 15-20 min. Let cool. Toast almonds in 400 F oven about 4 min. stirring once. Combine all ingredients. Mix well. Press firmly into well-greased jelly roll pan. Bake in preheated 350�F oven about 20 min. or until slightly golden. Let cool. Crumble into bite-sized pieces.
Mix above ingredients in a saucepan, heat and let boil 3 minutes. Remove from heat promptly. Add 1 teaspoon vanilla and mix well. Pop 2 bags microwave popcorn (or pop 1 cup popcorn). Pour mixture over popped popcorn. Stir carefully. Let cool.
