Add An Adjective

An Add-an-Adjective story is a fun way to get your kids thinking creatively. Whether it's a Mother's Day story, a Halloween story, and anything else, adjectives are the perfect way to set the tone for a story. First, have your kids read the story through, then they can create the right atmosphere by adding their own adjectives. By writing a different adjective in each of the blanks, the story itself develops a different feel. Challenge them to use a unique adjective for each space.
