As a child growing up, one of my favorite activities was hidden pictures. They are exactly that - items hidden within an illustration.
Children learning to read with phonics memorize the sound that each letter makes. The easiest sound to hear in any word is the first letter of that word. For that reason, kids who are just beginning to read may enjoy looking for things that start with a specific letter.
Our hidden picture pages focus on each individual letter. Children can try to find as many items in the picture that begin with that particular letter. They may enjoy circling or coloring each item.
